Enjoy one of the oldest resorts in America

Opening in 1938 Arizona Snowbowl is one of the oldest ski resorts in the whole U.S. It is located in the stunning San Francisco Peaks about 2 hours away from Phoenix. It offers 32 trails for skiers and snowboarders that are serviced by 4 chair lifts.
Beginners may take somme lessons at the local ski school first in order to learn the proper techniques. Qualified and experienced staff will introduce you to skiing and boarding. The Ski&Ride school is registered with the Professional SKi Instructors of America and the American Association of Snowboard instructors. Of course, you can rent ski and snowboards at Arizona Snowbowl.
There is also a terrain park available to test and improve your freestyle skills. For beginners who may like to test the park the Ski & Ride school has instructors available.
Snowplay such as tubing and sledding is not allowed in the Arizona Snowbowl area. However, sites where these acitivties are permitted are rather close.
