The second largest Ski Resort of British Columbia is located just 56km south east of Kelowna. Kelowna can be reached within an hour by plane departing Vancouver airport. According to the average of 750cm snowfall each year, Big White Ski Resort is living up to its name. The amazing TELUS Park offers the most imaginable amount of obstacles fitting in a terrain park. The Super Pipe is taking each rider to its maximum and fit Olympic standards. The Night Life in Big White starts straight ahead after closing times. Different animations and events entertain the old, families as well as the youths. The Après Ski ambiance is overwhelming by giving the right answer to everyone’s taste. And there is still the option to sit back in a fine restaurant enjoying the food you have always searched for. The dining opportunities start with Suisse cheese fondue at Sam’s bar and end in the most luxurious restaurants in town. Still to stressful? – The grocery stores are still open after the chairlifts close, inviting you to a relaxed evening at home in front of the own bonfire. Big White offers a large range from luxurious apartments to simple hotel rooms. In total 17.000 guests can be covered.
Some facts: 10 out of the 16 lifts are chairlifts and one is a gondola. A Handle Tow, T-bar lift, 2 tubing lifts and a carpet carry 28.000 people per hour up the hill. All trails for beginners, intermediate, experts, and extreme riders add up to an amount of 145 trails (27 unnamed). The longest run measures 7.2km in total.
