Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche ski resort
The Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche Zermatt area is one of the largest in the Alps, with a varied “domaine skiable” beyond compare, it streches over three valleys in two countries, Italy and Switzerland, from the 3,883 m of "Piccolo Cervino" descending to the 1,524 m of Valtournenche. 350 km of ski runs offering the chance to ski all day without ever repeating the same run twice, alternating easier runs with those of increasing difficulty. The renewal of the district during the 2006/2007 season has seen 5 new lift systems and artificial snow coverage system and the opening of a new chairlift last winter, the six-seater chairlift "Pancheron" opening up an extensive area of ski area at the foot of the Cervino. Reduced skipasses for Seniors and Juniors, free skipasses for infants. Multi-day Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche skipasses vaild for one day in another resort in the Aosta Valley. Half-day skipasses (morning until 1.00pm, afternoon from 12.00pm) and 3 and 4 hour skipasses available. For groups, one free skipass for every twelve purchased. Promotional periods at the beginning and end of the season.
