Brusson
Brusson is one of Monterosa´s ski resorts. It is well known for biathlon and cross-country skiing because it is here where many international competitions take place. The cross-country ski trails go from Brusson via Evançon river and Vollon flat to Extrepieraz. Estoul´s downhill slopes start at an altitude of 2235 meters end at an altitude of 1700 meters. Thus, you will enjoy a formidable sun exposure with great panoramic views. Brusson mainly adresses to advanced skiers, as there are mostly red slopes. Situated in the centre of the Evançon Valley, Brusson is made of many fractions all over a charming mountain area. Some places have maintained the traditional mountain aspect with old buildings well preserved. The local tourist office also organize some cultural events for those who seek diversion.
