Canyon Ski Area - Activities ALL Year ´Round!
Canyon Ski Area, located on the shores of the Red Deer River, is the biggest non-mountain ski resort in Alberta. Due to our experience to get snowmaking machines as one of the first ski resorts, we offer exceptional snow conditions.
You get all you need at Canyon! Three surface lifts and two chairlifts bring you to our thirteen runs where everybody finds a slope that fits his choice. Our snowboard park awaits with some spectacular hits and rails. A phenomenal lighting system enables you to enjoy skiing in the evening.
In addition Canyon offers a Summer Children´s Day. Your children will get an idea of life in wilderness and will have lots of fun by canoeing, horseback riding, hiking, etc.
