Ski Civetta resort 1000-2200 m.
Ski Civetta is the biggest ski area in the Veneto region. Ski Civetta is situated between the Marmolada and Cortina D’Ampezzo and combines the ski resorts Alleghe, Zoldo, Selva di Cadore and Palafavera. Ski Civetta boasts 80 km of slopes, 25 lifts featuring an hourly capacity of nearly 37,000 persons. Most of ski runs are equipped with artificial snowing facilities - 80 km of slopes featuring artificial snowing plants and 75 snow cannoons – Most of slopes are set between 1500 and 2100 mt. asl, that means a natural snow covering throughout the winter season. Ski Civetta also boasts 30 km of cross-country tracks among which 2 are enlightened. Since 1993/1994 Ski Civetta is a Dolomiti Superski member and is linked by means of an efficient skibus connection operating between Alleghe and the Marmolada and thus, the Sella Ronda and the Great War 1915-18 ski tours. SKI CIVETTA: Alleghe - Selva di Cadore - Zoldo - Palafavera 80 km. of ski runs among which: 6 km. difficult; 44 km. medium-difficulty and 32 km. easy Ski season from December to April 5 Km of night skiing ski runs open weekly from Tuesday to Saturday 25 lifts of which 11 drag lifts, 12 chair lifts and 2 gondolas Hourly capacity: 37,000 persons/h Snow guaranteed on the whole ski runs surface - guarantee of snow from December to April Free, non-stop skibus service between Alleghe and the Marmolada - Malga Ciapela (15 minutes) From Malga Ciapela ski connection to Arabba - Val Badia - Val Gardena and Val di Fassa (Sellaronda and Great War Ski Tours) From Malga Ciapela cable car to the top of the Marmolada glacier 3,300 mt. asl. – Piste “La Bellunese” (12 km.)
