Cypress Mountain – The best skiing in Vancouver
As official freestyle skiing and snowboard venue for the 2010 Olympic winter games, Cypress Mountain opened 40 ha of new terrain and an in-ground terrain park as well as a new high-speed chairlift. Directly located at the north shore of Vancouver West, Cypress Mountain is easy to reach and only a 26 minutes ride away from Vancouver downtown. Freeskiers and Snowboarders will find one of the biggest playgrounds of British Columbia. The huge terrain parks offer a breathtaking view over Vancouver downtown. A new SuperPipe for the Olympic winter games has also been designed. Nightlife enthusiasts will love Vancouver downtown after a day in the park or on the slopes.
