The Ski Resort Dachstein West is situated in the heart of Austria, making it very accessible from Salzburg and Upper Austria.
32 lifts and 77 km of well-prepared ski-runs connecting the villages of Russbach, Annaberg and Gosau, the Ski Resort Dachstein West which is located only a 45 minutes drive away from the city of Salzburg.
But not only the good access of the region but also the reasonable prices make the Ski Resort Dachstein West a good choice.
The holiday island in the mountains doesn´t just enjoy a superb panorama, it also stands out due to the wide range of pistes it offers for the whole family, for beginners, those returning to the sport and for experts. You can scale the moubntainscape in no time at all on the most modern of lift facilities, then practise your turns on the best prepared snow.
The family-friendly ski area awaits its guests with great attractions for younger visitors and thus allows to spend a couple hours on the ski slopes by themselves.

Low prices and free bus service from Salzburg
In many ski resorts, you will pay more than EUR 40,00 for the day ski pass whereas in the Ski Resort Dachstein West, you will get the day ticket for only EUR 36,80 for adults and EUR 18,40 for kids which makes skiing truly affordable. Additionally, there are free ski buses operating between Salzburg (EM football stadium east entrance) and the Ski Resort Dachstein West.

Kindergarten "Sparrow´s Nest"
The Kids Club "Sparrows Nest" is located at the bottom station of the Hornbahn Russbach cable car. Pedagogically skilled nannies look after the smallest kids from one year of age. While the parents enjoy themselves on the skislopes, their children do crafts, sing, paint and play. If the little ones need a nap, they can make themselves comfortable in the cozy corner.
In the "Sparrows Nest", childcare is available for a couple of hours or for the whole day. For a small surcharge, lunch will be served. Childcare is free of charge for guests from Russbach.
