Monte Popolo - skiing in Eben gives you unbeatable value for money
Despite being a very small ski area, it is big on facilities with a designated children´s area, fun park, timed run and cosy chalet restaurants. What it lacks in size it makes up for in fun and value for money with special family day passes costing from € 22 and affordable ticket prices for singles starting at
€ 19,50, wich has quickly made Monte Popolo very popular. The area has also added to its appeal with junior weekend discount on Saturdays and Sundays. Children € 11 and juniors € 17,50 per day at weekends.
A comfortable 6-seater chairlift with leather upholstery, child safety bars and bubble shields,
two practice lifts and the newly adapted double chairlift help to make skiing more relaxed and fun.
Monte Popolo in Eben is a small ski area where it is easy to find your way around. Ideal for the whole family. The youngest skiers can look forward to all kinds of excitement beside the button lift like animal figures and a little house where they can soon warm up those cold toes.
A number of rails in various widhts for sliding make the fun park a magnet for young peoples. If you ever wondered how you compare with the professionals, why not ski down the timed run named after Olympic gold medallist Andrea Fischbacher and see if you can beat her time.
An area-wide snow making system guarantees reliable snow conditions throughout the whole ski season.
Eben lies right on the A10 Tauern motorway - about 60 km from the city of Salzburg and is also linked to the public rail network.
