The Ski Resort
In Winter, Evolène - Région offers an incredible panorama and over 100 km of remarkable alpine pistes. You´ll also find great snowshoe walks, and for the more adventurous, try heliskiing accompanied by a mountain guide. In these idyllic surroundings, you can also try the two most beautiful cross-country skiing pistes in the whole of the central Valais.

- The vertical drop from summit to base is 1,200 m. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in Switzerland is 875 m. Most runs are therefore relatively long. The ski resort takes you to an elevation of 2,600 m.
- The day pass at Evolene is CHF46 making it one of the 10 cheapest ski Resorts in the Valais.
- Average snow depth during the season is 140 cm at summit elevation and 40 cm at base elevation. Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 170 cm at summit elevation and 49 cm at the base.
