Ski Resort Flattnitz Regional experience Hochosterwitz - Kärntenmitte: Position on map

Flattnitz Ski Resort

Trail Map Flattnitz

The Ski Resort

The slopes of the Ski area Flattnitz in the Gurktaler Alps are predominantly marked blue with 7 kilometres, but also show red (2 kilometres) and black (4 kilometres) marked slopes.

Beginner start their day at the Platzermulden lift and try the blue marked run 5. If you feel safe on the downhill, try blue marked run 2, which starts at the 1.840 meter high Hirnkopf and ends in the valley. Kids use the Babylift, which is opposite the parking lot. A ski school is on site.

Advanced and trained take the chairlift to the Hirnkopf and dare to go down the black marked slope nr. 1. Winter sports enthusiasts who find this too demanding will switch from descent 1 to descent 3, which continues on to descent 2 marked blue. From there you can either descend to the valley station or to the Fürstenhüttenlift.
