Gressoney-La-Trinite - Skiing beneath Monterosa Massif
Situated at the bottom of Monterosa Massif, Gressoney-La-Trinité has always been a popular ski resort. The village offers the perfect mixture of traditional architecture and the modern tourist center. Old and cozy houses and alleys provide a comfy feeling whereas modern facilities and lifts make sure, you´ll have great skiing fun. Gressoney-La-Trinité is the center of Monterosa Ski Carousel. From here you can reach the ski resorts Champoluc-Frachey and Alagna. This ski resort is particularly interesting for advanced skiers. Most of the slopes are equipped with snow cannons to ensure best snow conditions throughout the season. There is also a snow park for kids and beginners with a special beginners´ lift. There are always professional instructors present to help all those who might need it. Cross-country skiers are able to explore the two 3 kilometer cross-country ski trails. Skilled freeriders have numerous possibilites to get their off-piste fun.
