Hochkar: Beginners Welcome!

Hochkar Ski Resort is located only 150 km away from the capital of Austria, Vienna, and is the home of several top alpine sportsmen! Hochkar convinced with snow guarantee, panoramic views and a varied gastronomy. All in all there are 19 km of trails and 9 lifts. Whether you prefer carving or a mogul run - it´s there! Nonetheless, it´s beginners who profit most. Hochkar recieved the seal of quality "Beginners Welcome!". For instance, there are special ski programs for school classes. Yet, all other beginners will also find a qualified companion for their first turns at the local ski school. The resort is also popular amongst freestylers. It is widely known for its backcountry kickers that make any freestyler´s heart beat faster. However, there is also a lot to do aside of the trails. Cross Country skiing and snowshoeing are only a few. If you want to relax you may pay a visit to the Ybbstaler Solbad Spa.
