Holiday Mountain is a beautiful small resort in La Riviere close to Winnipeg. With 2 double chair lifts and one magic carpet they have an uphill capacity of 5000 people per hour. The trails and runs are familiy friendly and Holiday Mountain is especially famous for its very well equipped terrain park (Freestyle Terrain Park). The variety of features makes this terrain park fun for all ability levels.The Blue Chair double chairlift whiskes you up to the top to more intermediate and advanced runs and operates at full speed. The skiing business in La Riviere was started 1959 and the resort was, with its snowmaking machines and chairlifts, a pioneer in the area and now it proves its technical cutting-edge position by owning the first magic carpet of the area!
Fun fact: All the trails at Holiday Mountain have been named after people who helped building the resort. The lighting installations for night skiing have been doubled recently and are not only a lot of fun but also provide a fantastic view!
