For 30 km of the finest deep snow? For the 11 km long prepared descent?
The Freesports Arena Krippenstein in Salzkammergut, Upper Austria, has been named a hotspot on the freeriding scene by the magazine SnowPlanet – above famous names like Cortina, St. Moritz and Arlberg! And away from the runs and cliff drops, the ‘Stoa’ is sure to impress (as locals respectfully call the powerful mountain) with its exciting outdoor programme, far away from the mainstream.
The Freesports Arena Krippenstein programme offers days packed with freedom – anything goes: skiing and boarding, on and off-piste, freeride training and snow camps, snow shoe walks, ski tours, ice climbing, dog-drawn sled rides and paragliding. Or why not try travelling down the pistes by mountain bike… or watching the professionals take part in one of the many spectacular events on offer? Or how about the extreme sport of lounging in the Alpine huts!!??
