The "Ladurns I" 4-seater chairlift was replaced by a modern 10-seater gondola lift in summer 2021. The new lift runs from the valley station to the Ladurns hut. As part of the new construction, the valley station with skirental, depot and ticket office was also renovated. A new ski meadow with a practice lift for beginners was also built at the new middle station. After the opening of the Wasteneggbahn in 2019, the ski area got completely modernised with the new gondola lift.

Not far from Brenner Pass lies Ladurns ski resort. Although it can´t compete with the greater ski resorts quantitatively, its specialty is its extraordinary suitability for family vacations. Ladurns´s mostly blue and red slopes are primarily adressed to beginners and kids. Fichtis Kinderland right next to the valley station is a lovely kids´ park, where toddlers have huge fun. With 5000 squaremeters its objective is slowly acquainting the kids to skiing.

There are also plenty of opportunities for a cosy break in Ladurns. At the mountain station of the Ladurns cable car, the Ladurner Hütte (with South Tyrolean specialities, homemade blueberry schnapps and fresh apple strudel) and the Pfeifferhuiselehütte await hungry skiers and snowboarders.

Another refreshment stop is the Edelweißhütte. From the mountain station of the Wastenegg chairlift, take the blue-marked Ladurner Alm descent to reach the hut.
