Back-country skiing in Latsch
Latsch, South Tyrol, specialized in winter sports in the untouched nature. That is no groomed slopes, but ski routes far from crowded ski resorts. Martell Valley is considered to be one of South Tyrol´s most beautiful resorts for back-country skiing. Up to now, Latsch is an insiders´ tip. Those who have little experience in ski touring can hire local moutain guides. By going to Latsch, back-country skiers can evade the big ski resorts´ bustle and enjoy the region´s peaceful routes. And if they want to take a day off they can go ice-skating or check out the local toboggan run.
