The Ski Resort
A true winter paradise for families is the French ski resort Les Karellis. From the seven holiday villages surrounding the car-free village, you can ski directly on the slopes without having to travel long distances. A total of 60 kilometres of pistes, spread over 29 runs, are waiting to be explored. Their diversity makes them ideal for beginners, advanced skiers and experts alike.
The practice area in the valley is recommended for the first attempts on the boards. Ski dwarves can learn the ABC of winter sports in the separate snow garden, which has its own lift, a magic carpet and a heated room. In between, a fast toboggan run or a snowball fight provide variety. Those who don't feel like skiing can play in the children's club, do handicrafts and discover the mountain world.
At 2,300 metres above sea level, the fun park, which can be reached via the Plagne drag lift, makes freestyle enthusiasts' hearts beat faster. With tables, rails, jumps and a big air bag it is perfectly equipped for cool moves. There is also a boardercross. Freeriders can enjoy the fresh powder on some excellent slopes.

- The vertical drop from summit to base is 900 m. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in France is 819 m. The high point of the ski resort is located at an elevation of 2,500 m.
- Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 213 cm at summit elevation and 78 cm at the base.
