Mt Hood Meadows: Get A Real Big Mountain Experience!

Mt Hood Meadows Ski Resort is huge! With 870 hectares of terrain and a vertical rise of 2225 meters it offers a real big mountain experience. Such hugeness also means great variety and in fact, Mt Hood Meadow´s mountains offer fun for everyone! Find steeps and glades, trails with natural bumps and gentle, rolling runs - there´s nothing missing. The terrain is widely known for its variety. Oregonians even have voted Mt Hood Meadows trails and slopes for having the best cruising intermediate terrain in the entire state. The trails are serviced by 11 chair lifts. Take a ride to the summit and enjoy breathtaking views of the area around. You will also find 6 different Terrain Parks with one Half Pipe. The design of the parks changes during the season depending upon conditions. However, you will always find a great variety of features for all ability levels. 56 hectares of the terrain are lighted including the Super Pipe. Extend your mountain experience and ski and ride under the starry sky! Furthermore, you get the oppportunity to go Cross-Country skiing. There is a 15 km Nordic trail system available. Glide through woods and meadows and savor the beauty of nature! Mt Hood Meadows also cares about your physical well-being: There are not less than 9 dining facilities available throughout the mountain. Take a break in between runs and get a break having a delicious meal at one of the restaurants. It´ll give you strength for your next big mountain adventure!
