Mt Rose: Discover Tahoe´s Best Kept Secret!

Mt Rose is located only 40 km away from downtown Reno. There is a shuttle bus available that will conveniently bring you to the ski area at low prices. At Mt Rose 485 hectares of skiable terrain are waiting do be discovered. It offers great variety and even half of the terrain are most difficult trails and slopes so even expert skier and riders won´t get bored here! However, on such great terrain there is also enough space for beginners left. The Ski and Snowboard School offers a multitude of programs that focus not only on beginners but also on advanced skiers and riders since there is always more to learn! A specialty of Mt Rose are its Silver Ski Clinics designed for skiers ages 50 and older. Furthermore, there are 3 Terrain Parks with great features to show off your skills. Undoubtedly, an exciting day on the mountain will make you hungry. At Mt Rose you can choose from a great variety of dining facilities. No matter if you´re looking for a slice of pizza, a salad, a sandwich or a proper meal you will find it here. The new Winter´s Creek Lodge is especially recommendable as you can soak up the sun on the sundeck or enjoy the panoramic view due to its glass architecture!
