Skiing from November through April
Passo Rolle mountain pass connects San Martino di Castrozza to the Dolomites´ valleys. The village of Passo Rolle is rather small and calm, but features all the Restaurants, hotels and shops all kinds of skiers look for. Passo Rolle´s absolute advantage is the fact that you can go skiing here five months a year. If the weather fails to provide the slopes with proper snow, there are enough snow cannons to compensate for it. In summer the region is a paradise for all those who love hiking, mountain biking and climbing. You can reach Passo Rolle very easily by bus from San Martino. Here you´ll find 15 kilometers of slopes for all skills. There is also an awesome snow park for snowboarders and freestylers in Passo Rolle. And for those who long for some diversion there is also the possibility to transfer to Carosello delle Malghe ski resort. It can be reached from San Martino.
