Skiing fun on Sterzing Sun Terrace
Skiing season will start soon! And then, skiing also starts in the ski resort around Rosskopf. By cable car you ascend to 1860 Meters, where the skiing fun begins. There you can choose between instantly descending one of the slopes or going to one of the cozy lodges to get a hot drink. Either way, on Sterzing Sun Terrace there are plenty of possibilities for winter sports aficionados. Especially advanced skiers find nice and challengig groomed slopes. The modern lift facilities make sure you don´t have to wait too long for the next lift taking you back up to the terrace. There are sufficient snow cannons to compensate for a lack of snow. Thus, your skiing holidays won´t depend on the weather forecast. Sterzing´s toboggan run is really a special experience. On approximately 10 kilometers the youngsters and the elder will find great pleasure. If you wish to go shopping, Sterzing´s shops make sure you´ll get what you´re looking for. For families there is a children´s skiing school. It has been rewarded with the skiing association´s gold medal, because of its specialization on training kids.
