The Ski Resort
The skiing area "Rothwald Wasenalp am Simon" offers you 25 km of well groomed slopes that are partly provided with artifical snowmaking facilities. 2 skilifts present the installations of the mountain railways that will bring you safely and fast to the trail of your choice.
A special children´s lift „Pony“ is located at the mountain station right next to a cosy restaurant. Its sun terrace allows you to enjoy phenomenal views of the mountain panorama while letting your children romp around right next to you, always within your sight.
Besides the groomed pistes of Rothwald there is also a number of opportunities of off-piste skiing. Alternatively you may participate in organised skitours through the surrounding areas, all led by professional skiing instructors. The local skiing school and its staff welcomes you warmly to attend its courses for beginners to experts.
