Sipapu Ski Resort: Visit The Most Family-Friendly Resort In The Rockies!
Sipapu Ski Resort is located in northwestern New Mexico, only about 30 km away from Taos. Since 1952 it has been a family run business and families are what is in the resort´s center of attention. Everyone at Sipapu is eager to create a family friendly environment as it is their philosophy that it is quite important to spend some quality time with your family. Therefore, Sipapu aims at providing as much family fun as possible at affordable prices. This way it has gained a reputation of being the most family-friendly resort in the Rockies. At Sipapu you will find 80 hectares of skiable terrain. This means there is enough space for everyone no matter if beginner oder expert. However, the resort is still small enough that nobody gets lost. There are two Terrain Parks for freestylers and those who want to become one. They have features for all ability levels such as rails, boxes and jumps. In addition, there are natural terrain features located throughout the mountain. Sue´s Ski School offers not only lessons for beginners but also for skiers and riders who want to refine their already existing skills. A very special offer is the Frequent Sliders Club. It is designed for guests who have never stood on skis or a snowboard. You´ll get 3 lessons for FREE!
