Stowe Mountain Resort is a quality ski resort located in north central Vermont. It is also known as the "Snow Capital of the East" and easily accessible as it shares its name with the town. Stowe Mountain Resort offers a snow experience that you won´t forget! Its skiable terrain of more than 200 hectares spreads over two mountains that are interconnected by a gondola. It takes you only about 1.5 minutes to get from one peak to the other. You can choose from 116 trails for all ability levels. Stowe Mountain is a resort that is enjoyed by the entire family. There are easy beginner trails and long intermediate cruisers as well as steep expert trails! Stowe Mountain Resort is also home of one of the oldest ski & snowboard schools in Vermont. With 75 years of experience it offers the best instruction around. There´s something for everyone: full-day programs for kids, programs for adults, private and semi private lessons. You´ll definitely find a program that suits your needs. 300 instructors are ready to introduce you to their favorite sport. Whether it is you first time on skis or snowboard or if you want to advance your skills, they will do their best to help you to achieve your personal aim. Furthermore, there is a a day care center avialable. Cubs Day Care is a licensed childcare facility where your child has the opportunity to play with a great variety of great toys and materials. Experienced and patient staff will take care of your child so you don´t have to worry about anything while you cruise the trails and slopes of Stowe Mountain Resort! In addition, Stowe Mountain Resort has a Nordic center. It offers unbelievable 35 km of groomed tracks and another 30 km of backcountry terrain. Again you can choose from beginner, intermediate and expert trails. Explore this great Vermont winter landscape and leave the world behind! The tracks are also open for snowshoeing. Snowshoes are available at the rental shop. Moereover, you have the opportunity to try dog sledding at Stowe Mountain Resort! Feel the dogs´ strength and let them pull you enthusiastically over the trails! After an exciting day in the snow you can relax in the resort´s spa. End your day with a massage or a visit to the sauna!
