The fantastic Stubai Valley
The Stubai Valley gives variety to your holiday. It is located approximately 16 km south of the provincial capital Innsbruck at an altitude of 1,000 m. Neustift is Tirol´s second largest municipality (in terms of surface area). Over 150 km of slopes on four ski resorts, ten toboggan runs with over 60 km slopes, 130 km cross-country-trails and many other sport activities make the Stubai Valley so attractive. Austrias biggest glacier skiing are – the Stubai Glacier – with 100% snow guarantee from October till June, is located in Neustift. The landscape is overwhelming in this alpine valley of the superlative with the mighty Stubaier glacier at the valley head. Visitors seeking relaxation come here to refuel on new energy surrounded by refreshing mountain air and to leave the everyday grind far behind.
