The Homestead Ski Area: Ski At One Of America´s Oldest Resorts!
The Homestead Ski Area belongs to the popular The Homstead Resort which exists since 1766. Homestead opened its ski hill in 1959 and since then many have enjoyed skiing here. The area totals 18 hectares and offers trails and slopes for all abilities. Surrounded by the Allegheny Mountains you´ll get a unique skiing experience. Lessons are available for all levels. However, the Bunny School focuses especially on the needs of kids. Other fun activities include ice skating, cross country skiing and guided snowmobiling tours during which you can explore the vast winter landscapes around the resort. Selfevidently, you can use all the resort´s amenities such as the Europran style Spa and the resort´s great restaurants.
