The Homestead: Meet A Unique Resort!
The Homestead is more than the usual resort. It is located in a unique location, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, which is one of the most beautiful locations in the state. Ski in an exceptional environment and savor scenic views of Lake Michigan! At The Homstead you´ll get excellent service at your accommodation as well as on the slopes. Lift tickets are limited to avoid crowded slopes and to maximize your ski experience. There are 6,5 hectares of skiable terrain available. The majority of the trails are beginner and intermediate trails. However, there are also some expert trails available for those looking for a challenge. In addition, there is a permament mogul run available where you can test your skills. The Snowsports School offers lessons for all ability levels. Take some lessons and you will enjoy your favorite winter sport even more! Besides ski, snowboard and cross- country lessons there is also a terrain park training available. Go with a pro and learn the basics of freestyle riding! Cross country skiing is also very popular amongst The Homestead´s visitors. 11 km of tracks wind through forests and open meadows. Pause for stunning views of Lake Michigan and savor nature´s beauty!
