Bigger, Better, The Summit At Snoqualmie!
The Summit at Snoqualmie is located an easy 45 minutes drive away from Seattle. It consists of 4 mountains, Summit West, Summit Central, Summit East plus Alpental. Alpental is famous for its great challenging terrain. Discover its backcountry full of deep powder, cliffs and stashes. However, always keep your safety in mind! Summit West, in contrast, is the mountain for family fun! Here you´ll find easy beginner and intermediate trails that are pleasurable for children and less experienced skiers and riders. Summit Central offer diverse terrain for all ability levels and is also home of the resort´s huge superpipe. Finally, Summit East offers access to terrain that had been closed for the last 20 years. Come back and rediscover hectares of great terrain! The entire terrain is serviced by 25 lifts to avoid long lift lines. The Summit at Snowqualmie has two terrain parks including the already mentioned super pipe. The parks have been ranked amongst the "Top 10 Parks in the U.S. and Canada" by Freeskier Magazine in 2009. They are full of great innovative features that will give your skills a boost! Besides a variety of ski and snowboard lessons for beginners the Ski & Snowboard School also offers Freestyle Camps. Learn to ride in the park like a pro within only two sessions! There is also a bunch of private ski schools available that all have a long tradition of teaching skiing and snowboarding so whatever kind of program you´re looking for you will certainly find one that matches your needs. Families listen up! The Summit Tubing Center provides the ultimate winter adventure for your whole family. There are up to 12 chutes available and a rope tow will pull you up the hill. Furthermore, cross country skiing and snowshoeing give you acces to the beautiful landscape surrounding The Summit. Pass forests blanketed in snow, frozen lakes and open meadows. The trail system totals 50km of groomed trails for all ability levels. End your day on the mountains with a visit to one of the Apres Ski Bars of the resort. Keep checking the website to get the latest information on live music entertainment!
