Timberline Lodge: The All Year Ski Area!

Timberline Lodge Ski Area is an exceptional ski area! Located on top of the tallest mountain in Oregon it is the only ski area in North America that is open all year long. It boasts over 570 hectares of skiable terrain for all ability levels. Due to its top elevation of 1478 meters and an average snowfall of 12 meters a year Timberline Lodge doesn´t need any snowmaking. You will always find great snow conditions on the mountain - 12 months a year! The trails are serviced by 9 lifts and a passenger snowcat as you have the opportunity of snowcat skiing at Timberline Lodge. Palmer Snowfield located above the tree line provides a unique skiing experience for advanced and expert skiers. The Ski School offers programs for children and adults who want to learn the basics of skiing and snowboarding as well as the so called Next Step programs designed for more advanced skiers and riders who want to brush up and refine their skills. In addition, there are 5 terrain parks and a pipe available. Find exceptional and well maintained features that you won´t find at any place close!
