Classic New England Skiing: Whaleback Ski Area!
Whaleback Mountain was founded in 2005 witt the aim of creating a year round action sport facility. During summer offers a variety of fun sports such as paintball, inline skating and BMX. In winter, however, Whaleback Mountain turns into a snow-fun area! It offers 24 hectares of terrain for downhill skiing and snowboarding. There are multiple trails for all skill levels serviced by a chair lift, a rope tow and a magic carpet for the little ones. Equipment is available at the Rental shop located at the main lodge. Here you will also find a cafeteria, pub and the Whaleback Mountain School. There are private and group lessons available for all ages and abilities. Experienced and patient instructors will help you to achieve your personal goal no matter if it is to make your first turn or advanced carving, if you want to conquer the bunny hill or a double black diamond run! There are also two terrain parks available for some freestyle fun. They include boxes rails and jumps. The parks are always well maintained by the park crew who tries to provide best park conditions during the entire season.
