Skicentre Zahmer Kaiser
The “Zahmer Kaiser“ ski centre is THE popular holiday and skiing destination for young families. The gently sloping, generous slopes are set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Kaiser mountain range, and are absolutely perfect for children and beginners. 25 km of slopes, 10 different runs, a modern 4-seater chairlift and 9 other lift systems, a kid’s ski paradise and night skiing once or twice a week (on the snowy Amberg lift) guarantee fun on the slopes for young and old. Modern snow machines mean that snow is guaranteed. The welcoming Alpine huts in Walchsee, a resort with four winter tobogganing runs, offer guests plenty of winter entertainment and a change from the slopes. The Kaiserwinkel, with a cross-country ski network covering 140 km, is an absolute eldorado for cross-country skiers. Winter sports in Durchholzen am Walchsee – easy to reach, and toll-free to boot!
