Zermatt - great snow conditions all year long!

At Zermatt, any skiers´ and snowboarders´ dream comes true: 365 days of great snow conditions enable you to enjoy the skiing area all year long. During the winter, 350 km of slopes offer diversity for anyone whilst during the summer 20 km of pistes at the glacier „Theodulgletscher“ provide for great skiing conditions.
The slopes are suitable for both beginners and professionals, about half of the pistes are of medium difficulty level, the remaining half of the slopes is split up into easy and difficult slopes.
The alternative wintersport activites of Zermatt are quite extensive as well. Besides 12 km of cross-country trails and 70 km of winterwalking trails Zermatt offers its visitors the chance of tobogganing, snowshoeing or choosing from a number of ice sport activities. You are free to try a challenging rock climbing tour or fun games at the natural ice rink.
If that is not enough, why not try something completely new – when paragliding, you may enjoy the most beautiful sights of Zermatt.
