Rossignol is a French ski producer that can look back on over 100 years of experience in the production of skis. In 1907, the passionate skier Abel Rossignol built his first skis out of solid wood. Today, Rossignol is a full-service provider of Alpine and Nordic skis and snowboards. The company is based in Isère in France. Rossignol was the first company to build fiberglass skis in the mid-1960s.
The brand’s skis have taken competitors to victory in many international competitions. When the first Nordic skis were produced in the 1970s, Rossignol propelled to fame as one of the world’s largest ski manufacturers. An extensive product range and technical innovations are still fundamental pillars of the company today. After the merger with boardsports producer Quicksilver, Rossignol has set itself the target of becoming the largest authentic mountain sports brand through the research and development of year-round mountain sports articles.
