The good conditions for beginners are also very convenient for families, since the kids are usually not so confident on skis yet. Right at the top station of the funicular you can find the Sunny Kids Park, where children can learn skiing in a playful way. The practice slope at the Junior Jet drag lift is also ideal for practice sessions with the whole family. Here you will also find the adventure slopes such as wave and snail run as well as a speed measuring track.
If parents prefer to explore the ski area on their own, children can be dropped off at the ski school at the top station of the funicular for supervision. However, Wurzeralm is quite a small ski area with 20 kilometers of slopes. Parents should therefore definitely buy the combination ticket for a skiing vacation lasting several days, with which the nearby Hinterstoder Höss ski area can also be skied. There, the childcare facilities are also very good and the slopes are somewhat more varied than on the Wurzeralm.
