Snowpark Zermatt – Freestyle fun (almost) 365 days a year

The Snowpark Zermatt is located on the Theodul Glacier in winter and somewhat higher on the Plateau Rosa in summer. The park is split into three subsections: The Beginner Park with simpler obstacles, the Kicker Park and the Rail Garden.

The park is one of the largest in the Alps, offering the following features in winter:

  • Slopestyle course with three rails and three jumps (difficulty from intermediate to professional)
  • beginner line with 12 jumps and 12 boxes (easy)
  • boardercross run (all levels)
  • rail garden with eight rails (intermediate to professional).

In summer, the Snowpark also offers a solid array of features:

  • 15 rails
  • 7 boxes
  • 2 small jumps
  • 5 medium jumps
  • 3 large jumps
  • 3 special features (corner, snow-cube und bonk-tank)
  • a halfpipe.

Freestyle fans should also make a trip over to the Italian side in Breuil-Cervinia

The IndianPark is located on the sunny south side of the ski area. Measuring 400m in length and over 100m wide, it is packed with rails and jumps. Numerous events are held all year round at the IndianPark. Although the park on the Zermatt side of the ski area is a safer bet in terms of snow, the IndianPark usually offers more pleasant temperatures.
