A total of 25 km of easy terrain!

Inexperienced winter-athletes are provided with an abundance of easy trails for taking “first steps” on skis or board. Numerous practicing tow lifts down in the valley offer perfect conditions for a safe and convenient introduction to down hill winter sports before the higher and more difficult terrain can be explored. No matter where you choose to park your car, there are short practicing tow lifts located at each of the base stations. In Eichenhof 2 tow lifts are at the disposal of yet to be skiers and riders, 1 tow lift is located in Baumoos and 2 tow lifts are to be found in Penzing. Major advantage in St Johann is the fact that inexperienced skiers can ski and ride the entire mountain on easy terrain without having to venture on intermediate let alone difficult terrain. The snow sports novices can conveniently take the Harschbichl 1 lift at the main cash office up the mountain and slide down the easy trails 1c and 1d which lead right back down to the foot of the mountain. The trails 2a and 3d which lead to Baumoos are also recommendable terrain for beginners as they can test their skills without running any risks. In order to get there, take the Harschbichl 2 lift uphill and then slide the 1a trail downwards which takes you directly to the valley descent.
